Lordstown police activity reported July 27-Aug. 11:

Aug. 11, 5:48 p.m. - A vehicle was stopped at Salt Springs Road near Virginia Trail, and a prescription bottle with white tablets inside was confiscated.

Aug. 8, 8:50 p.m. - Criminal damage was reported to a mailbox at 1005 Ellsworth Bailey Road after driver saw a pickup truck drive off the side of roadway and hit the box.

4:16 p.m. - An alarm was reported at the high school after several students were in an area where they didn't belong. Several students were playing soccer and volleyball.

Aug. 7, 6:19 p.m. - Marijuana was found in a vehicle in the 6500 block of Tod Avenue.

11:44 p.m. - An online computer scam for trading items was reported at 5157 Tod Ave. after someone from Texas was trying to trade items, such as clothing.

12:27 a.m. - A suspicious vehicle was reported in a driveway of empty property at 3415 Tod Ave.

Aug. 6, 8:09 p.m. - A dog was shot on a porch at 4346 Palmyra Road after it was chasing children and turned on the resident.

Aug. 5, 4:52 p.m. - Theft was reported at Dollar General on Tod Avenue after two female shoplifters took clothes, candles and lotion.

3:06 p.m. - A check scam was reported at 5184 Highland Ave.

2:37 p.m. - An alarm was reported at 2804 Hallock Young Road after two large flower pots and large rug were knocked over during thunderstorm.

Aug.1, 7:01 a.m. - An alarm was reported at Dollar General after balloon set off alarm.

July 31, 6:01 p.m. - The window of a vehicle was broken by a BB gunshot at 1205 May Drive.

July 30, 9:45 p.m. - Threats by man were reported at 1701 Henn Parkway after witnesses said he refused to leave and reported he would return to blow up the business.

3:03 a.m. - Domestic dispute, loud argument and physical altercation were reported at 613 Brunstetter Road. A man pushed another man and a woman was found bleeding on her face.
