WARREN - Jackie Paulik Jastatt, 68, of Warren, previously of Ashtabula, died unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at University Hospitals in Cleveland from complications due to a massive stroke.
She was a graduate of Ashtabula Harbor High School, Class of 1964. Several years later she moved to Warren, where she made her home.
Jackie retired from Leo's Ristorante in Warren after working several years as a hostess.
Jackie is survived by her sisters, Kathleen Welty of North Kingsville and Arlene Cutter (Larry) Staida of Ashtabula; nieces, Tracie Cutter Towner, Colleen Welty and Corrine Welty DuPuis; and nephews, Jim Welty and Glen Welty. Also surviving is her companion of several years, Roy Rhine of Leavittsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Jastatt; her parents, Mike and Violet Paulik; a nephew, Brian Cutter; and brother-in-law, James Welty.
At Jackie's request, no services will be observed.
She leaves behind a grieving family and many friends, who are now saying, "There will never be another Jackie."
