WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Donald J. Kusnir, 81, of West Palm Beach, Fla., passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, at his home.
Mr. Kusnir was born Sept. 2, 1932, in Cleveland to Michael and Veronica Kusnir, and was a 1950 graduate of St. Mary's High School. He attended Youngstown State University and left Warren in 1964. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He will be lovingly remembered by his family, including his daughters, Donna L. Carpenter and Sharon M. (Phillip) James; his grandchildren, Jonathon, Christopher and Whitney; his great-grandchildren, Cayden and Colton; his brothers, Thomas Kusnir and John Kusnir; and his sister, Dorothy D'Andrea.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bertha Kusnir; and granddaughter, Ashley Carpenter.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at Tillman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Fla. The Rev. Aidan M. Lacy will be the celebrant. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Inurnment with military honors will take place in South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Fla.
