CLUB HOLDS ARCHERY EVENT: The Eagle Creek Conservation Club will conduct a Youth Archery Clinic at 9 a.m. Saturday at 5525 Eagle Creek Road, Leavittsburg. MOBILE MEALS SEEKS ASSISTANCE: Trumbull Mobile Meals Inc. is looking for a talented, creative thinker who can design the next generation of food delivery bags. Designs will be judged by staff based on practicality, innovation and functionality. Anyone who has an idea to make delivery bags more functional, email designs to TMM at email@example.com.
The winning design will be entered into a national contest and the top three designs will win 20 delivery bags for their facility. Deadline for submission is Aug. 27.
SOUP EVENT SEEKS PARTICIPANTS: Warren SOUP is seeking project presenters, donors and volunteers for the next SOUP event to be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Laird Community Garden. The program helps present those needing start-up funds for projects with a chance to explain their project that will positively affect Warren. Deadline for proposals is Monday. All kinds of projects such as social entrepreneurship, urban gardens, youth development, fine/performing arts and social justice are accepted. Each presentation is four minutes with two minutes of questions.
Diners will only be allowed to vote after all the presentations are finished, and the winner will be announced at the end of the evening. They will be presented with the proceeds from that evening.
