AUSTINTOWN -- Former Austintown Fitch football standout William Mahone was sentenced to 10 days in Mahoning County Jail Wednesday following an arrest in June.
Mahone, 20, of White Beech Lane, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, assault and aggravated menacing. A felony charge of vandalism was dismissed. Mahone was sentenced to 10 days in jail, however, he was credited two days served from his initial arrest and posting of bond. After release, he will be on probation for a year.
Mahone was arrested the evening of June 15 after a graduation party in Austintown turned violent.
