YOUNGSTOWN - Emma L. Buzulencia, 91, died July 18, 2014, at Park Vista Retirement Center.
Mrs. Buzulencia was born Oct. 21, 1922, in Blooming Grove, Texas, a daughter of John E. and Edna Moody McClure.
She graduated from Blooming Grove High School and attended Texas Women's University.
Emma worked at Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas, Federal Works Agency in Dallas, Aetna Standard Engineering in Youngstown, and Best Book Shop in Youngstown.
She was a member of the Poland United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the AARP.
Emma enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Her husband, George, whom she married Feb. 9. 1944, died Feb. 7, 1974.
She leaves a son, Michael (Sarah) Buzulencia of Warren; a daughter-in-law, JoAnn Buzulencia of North Jackson; four grandchildren, Greg (Elizabeth) Buzulencia of Pittsburgh, Jeff Buzulencia of Cleveland, and Hayley Buzulencia and Hannah Buzulencia, both of Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Emma was preceded in death by a son, George Alan Buzulencia; a brother, Robert McClure; a sister, Evelyn Minatra; and two half-brothers, John and Elmer D. McClure.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Poland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Alan Hutchison officiating.
Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.
Friends and family will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
