A pitcher who is used to taking the mound at Progressive Field will be seeing time at Eastwood Field.
Cleveland Indians' left handed starting pitcher T.J. House will start for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers on Wednesday. House is currently 1-2 with a 4.40 ERA in nine games with the Indians.
The 24-year-old House started last Thursday against the Yankees, then on Friday was optioned to AAA Columbus. Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona reportedly said that House will rejoin the Indians for a start against the Minnesota Twins on July 21.
The Scrappers play the Connecticut Tigers for game one of a six-game homestand. Gates open at 6 p.m. with the game time set for 7:05 p.m.
