SANDUSKY - Edward Michael Suita, 90, of Sandusky, passed away April 14, 2014, of natural causes at the Ohio Veterans Home.
He was born Jan. 9, 1924, in Charleroi, Pa., to the late Michael and Mary Slys Suita.
Edward married the late Mary Ann Nadzan on April 26, 1952.
Ed was a 1943 graduate of Sharon High School and a 1950 graduate of Thiel College, where he obtained a bachelor's degree. He served in the Army and was a World War II veteran. He retired from American Welding Corporation after 33 years of service.
Ed is survived by his three daughters, Linda (Melvin) Aschenbach of Christmas, Fla., Shirley (Darryl) Spelich and Donna (Paul) Burns of Seminole, Fla. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann, deceased July 24, 1995; and his sister, Jean Voytko.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel at All Souls Cemetery, where friends may call 30 minutes before the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Easter Seal Society.
