LEMONADE DRINKERS FIGHT CANCER: The results are in and Eastwood Mall Complex patrons should be proud. They stepped up June 6-8 for National Lemonade Days, an effort that raised money to fight cancer. The event, sponsored by Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, created a sidewalk lemonade stand in front of the restaurant, where all the sales benefitted the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. This organization is dedicated to raising funding for childhood cancer research. Lemonade lovers at the Eastwood Mall Firebirds contributed a total of $2,940 to the cause. The Cafaro Foundation pledged to match contributions up to $2,000, bringing the grand total for the weekend to $4,940.
