CORTLAND - Harold Eugene Duncan, 81, of Cortland, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at Hospice House of Poland.
He was born Jan. 12, 1933, in Warren, a son of the late Benjamin and Mary Moyer Duncan.
Harold graduated from Leavittsburg High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Harold worked as a self-employed construction contractor. His hobbies and interests included hunting, fishing and woodworking.
Surviving are five daughters, Nikki Ridenour of Mogadore, Martha Sue Derr of Southington, Stephanie DeLeo of Phoenix, Ariz., Roxanne Turner of Florida and Cheryl Duncan of Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, Harold Duncan Jr. of Florida; three step-daughters, Teresa Redmond of Warren, Sherry Holmes of Warren and Maxine Bland of Columbus; 25 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Bilchak of Warren and Ruth Dunlap of Struthers; and three brothers, Benjamin Duncan of Cortland, James Duncan of Leavittsburg and Richard Duncan of North Fort Myers, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Hilda Mae Gregg Duncan; a sister, Maxine Holma; brother, Sidney "Bobby" Duncan; and a grandson.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home in Warren. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service time.
