WARREN - Marion E. Grayson, 81, of Warren, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014, at Hospice House.
He was born June 13, 1932, in Sugar Grove, the son of Teddie and Alice Kilbarger Grayson.
He married Anna Brant on June 13, 1987.
He was a graduate of Bristol High School, and retired from Delphi Packard Electric after 37 years of service. Marion was also employed with Second National Bank in Warren.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during Korean War.
Marion was of Protestant faith, and enjoyed fishing and camping. He was also a member of VFW Post 1090 in Warren.
Memories of Marion will be cherished by his wife, Anna Brant Grayson of Warren; daughter, Joy Lee (Dean) Sampson of Williamsport, Md.; stepdaughters, Wendy (Bob) Rexroad of Warren, Anna (Tim) Sheely of Lordstown and Mary Ann (Walter) Zienkiewicz of Cortland; stepsons, Tony (Monica) Brant of Warren, Leo Brant of Warren and Anthony (Kim) Brant of Liberty; two brothers, Robert Grayson of Akron and Earl (Joann) Grayson of Cortland; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Donna Culver Grayson; sisters, Mary Margaret Kellerman and Kathryn Grayson; brother, Richard Grayson; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Dr. Jay Eastman will officiate. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Marion will be laid to rest in Sager Memorial Park, Bristolville.
