BRISTOLVILLE - Grace Lucille Artman, 97, died Thursday, May 29, 2014, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
She was born Feb. 27, 1917, in Ashtabula, a daughter of Zada Moore and Virgil Stohler.
Formerly of Williamsfield and Cherry Valley, Mrs. Artman has been in Bristolville for almost eight years.
On July 13, 1941, she married Kenneth Artman.
She was a member of the Cherry Valley Church of the Nazarene since 1947.
Mrs. Artman enjoyed baking, canning and camping.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Artman; and a brother, Lawrence Stohler.
Survivors include a daughter, Lucille (Leonard) Starr of Andover; two sons, the Rev. K. Lyle (Dee) Artman of Decatur, Ill., and Charles (Marilyn) Artman of Bristolville; and 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover, with her son, the Rev. K. Lyle Artman officiating. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Cherry Valley Cemetery.
