ALZHEIMER NETWORK HOSTS WALK: The Alzheimer Network will conduct its 10th annual Walking Together from 9 to 11:30 a.m. May 31 at the Canfield Fairgrounds.
Walkers may register early by calling 330-788-9755 or by coming to the fairgrounds at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the walk. Light refreshments will be provided before the rain or shine event. Dogs are permitted on the fairgrounds. Those attending may also take part in raffles and a lunch canteen.
Families wanting to honor or memorialize a victim of Alzheimer's may walk themselves or as a family. They may also donate toward having a volunteer walk for them. Corporate sponsorships are available.
The Alzheimer Network is a nonprofit volunteer organization with all proceeds dedicated to helping families in the valley through support groups, educational events and many other services.

PROGRAM OFFERED FOR DEALING WITH ISSUES: An eight-step Christian program based on the Beatitudes is open to anyone dealing with a life-controlling habit or issue. It meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays at the Bloomfield Recovery Center, 10113 Creaser Ashtabula Road, Bloomfield.
