COMING MONDAY: WARREN Trumbull County's prosecutor says a Howland serial child rapist and "monster pedophile," who raped or molested 10 children at his wife's in-house day care center in the late 1980s should never see the light of day.
In fact, Prosecutor Dennis Watkins likened Clyde T. Bush to hazardous waste.
"He should be quarantined and kept in prison the rest of his life and away from children altogether," Watkins said Thursday while preparing to send Ohio's Parole Board a letter containing his feelings.
The former Howland man is serving eight life prison sentences for 14 sex offenses against the 10 boys and girls. The 64-year-old Bush is up for parole in June after being turned down by the board five years ago.
If Bush is given a release date after the parole hearing, Watkins said he will push for what's called a full board hearing when all parole board members gather and hear specific evidence on Bush's case before rendering a decision.
