May 14, 2:44 p.m. Police were dispatched to Petro Truck Stop, 1 Petro Place, to check the welfare of a driver after Wooster Motor Ways was unable to make contact with their employee. The driver, who was found in fthe sleeping bunk of the truck, apparently passed away from natural causes.

May 13, 9:16 p.m. A resident at 1439 Lincoln Ave. told police an unwanted person had broken into the residence.

11:30 a.m. A semi truck attempting to turn around got stuck in a yard, causing damage at 2910 Austintown Warren Road.

May 12, 8:44 p.m. Threats from a known person were reported at 3446 Main St.

2:08 p.m. A resident at 2896 W. Liberty St., told police an unknown person made unauthorized transactions from his bank account.

12:58 p.m. Edwin R. McClure, 65, 223 S. Carnegie, Niles, was charged with petty theft, after police responded to a theft of break-away cable from an RV at Ralph's RV, 321 Youngstown Warren Road.

12:03 p.m. Thomas Clyde Ruby, 60, 542 N. Dunbar Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing and reckless operation and Hunt R. Leland Jr., 45, 5619 Radcliff Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing and open container, after police were dispatched to Petrol Truck Stop, 1 Petro Place, for males panhandling.

1:31 a.m. Two GPS devices and coins were stolen from a vehicle at 1688 Rosalyn Circle.

May 11, 10:27 p.m. A resident at the police station told police he hired a man to cut down trees on his property on Ohltown McDonald Road. After giving the man a $150 deposit, the resident said the man never returned to do the work.

7:24 p.m. Ean J. Farrow, 25, 2504 East Ave., Akron, was arrested on charges of falsification, FRA suspension and no brake lights after police observed a suspicious driver in the 1600 block of Salt Springs Road.

12:43 a.m. A resident at 24 Beaver Creek told police a possible burglary had taken place at the residence.

May 10, 6:18 p.m. Suspicious persons were questioned at Northeastern Landscaping, 2010 Austintown Warren Road.

2:38 p.m. A Playstation, laptop computer, flat screen television and wallet were stolen from a bedroom at 1358 Gilbert Drive.

11:30 a.m. Curtis Brooks, 22, 3522 Forest Ridge Court, Mineral Ridge, was charged with obstructing official business and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after a woman at 3852 Forest Ridge Court told police a known person refused to return her vehicle.

5:30 a.m. James Evans, 21, 3731 St. Mary's Drive, Mineral Ridge, was charged with drug abuse, DUI and failure to control after police came upon a vehicle off the roadway while on patrol at Austintown Warren Road near West Park.

May 9, 5:10 a.m. A customer reportedly stole a strawberry strudel, food off of a grill and four bottles of washer from Pilot Travel Center, 2786 Salt Springs Road.

4:54 a.m. Two mailboxes were struck and damaged by a vehicle traveling east in the 1600 block of Ohltown McDonald Road.

12:53 a.m. Zachary P. Glunt, 21, 3855 Meander Driver, Mineral Ridge, and Patrick J. Glunt, 47, same address, were charged with domestic violence after police were dispatched to that address.

May 8, 2:35 p.m. Nichole Hapsic, 26, 412 Fenton St., Niles, was charged with drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs after police assisted the Ohio State Patrol at 3478 state Route 46.

3:67 a.m. A woman at the police station, 1451 Prospect St., said her son was threatened by the mother of another juvenile at a bus stop at Cloverbrook and Meadowhill Drive.
