LEAVITTSBURG - Larry Ray Brumfield, 59, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a heart attack.
He was born Sept. 2, 1954, in Warren, a son of the late Elmer and Juanita Copley Brumfield.
He retired from WCI Steel after 35 years of service.
Larry enjoyed fishing, working on cars and tractors. He was a hard worker, and loved to build and repair things. But above all, he was a caring and loving father who will be deeply missed.
Memories of Larry will be cherished by his mother, Juanita Brumfield of Leavittsburg; children, Kelly R. Brumfield, Kim A. (John) Calderwood, Laura B. Brumfield, Jessica L. Brumfield, Samantha R. Brumfield and Damian L. Brumfield, all of Leavittsburg; brother, Elmer; sisters, Ona and Sharon; and grandchildren, Kristen Calderwood, Mason Calderwood, Marcus Boyd, Jeremiah Brumfield and Taleah Brumfield.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Brumfield.
A gathering of friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Pine Knoll Cemetery, Warren Township.
