Cars entering Mosquito Lake State Park off state Route 305 are being rerouted to other boat launches after a roadway culvert buckled following heavy rains last night, according to assistant park manager Josie McKenna. The dangerous road was discovered between 7 and 8 a.m. today, she said, and has been posted unsafe for cars, bikes and pedestrians.
Park visitors entering from Route 305 can make an immediate right to reach the dog park and beach, plus the parking area. Anyone trying to drop in a boat is asked enter the Miller's Landing or campground entrance, McKenna said.
