Fri., 2:04pm: Western Reserve Port Authority in jeopardy

May 9, 2014
Tribune Chronicle

WARREN -- Although commissioners from Mahoning and Trumbull counties took no action at a special joint meeting today, there is indication that they are seriously considering dissolving the Western Reserve Port Authority.

Trumbull County Commissioner Paul Hetzel called the port authority board ``dysfunctional'' and rather than asking members to resign, he indicated it would be more practical to dissolve the existing board and establish a new one with new members.

Updates will be posted. Complete coverage will appear in Saturday's Tribune Chronicle print edition.
