KINSMAN - Lillian S. Cauffield, 85, of Kinsman, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
She was born Sept. 4, 1928, in Colebrook, a daughter of James and Edna M. Freeman Finlaw.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Cauffield lived in Kinsman for more than 50 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards and bingo, and doing crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Cauffield married Thomas L. Cauffield on July 20, 1963, and he preceded her in death on May 27, 1993. She was also preceded by her parents; five sisters, Helen Spencer, Marge Heflin, Nellie Housel, Ruby Shea and Marion Hudson; and two brothers, Turhan Finlaw and Louis Finlaw.
She is survived by her son, Thomas W. (Lesley) Cauffield of Kinsman; her daughter, Susan E. (Norman) Thompson of Champion; four grandchildren, Allison, Madison, Cassandra and Kevin; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Irene Gwinn of North Bloomfield; and two brothers, James Finlaw of Bristol and Richard Finlaw of Ravenna.
A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, with the Rev. David McKinnon officiating. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday.
