FIFTH WHEEL MEMBERS MEET: The Fifth Wheel Club of Warren met at McMenamy's restaurant for a Chinese auction. Each member brought three items to auction.

The International Affair, the senior prom given by The Senior Circle and the Howland School National Honor Society, was held March 29 at Leo's Ristorante, Howland.
The Republican Card Party and the Democratic Card Party, which will be held May 4 at Christ Episcopal Church, were announced.
The April 3 meeting was held at Sunrise Inn, Warren. The Speaker was Warren police Chief Eric Merkel. A question-and-answer period was held and was very informative.

JUNIOR GARDENERS VISIT GREENHOUSE: On May 3, members of the Hubbard Junior Garden Club will travel to DJ's Greenhouse, 1004 East Lake Road, Transfer, Pa.
Owner Dennis James will talk on new plants for 2014, have a question-and-answer time, and attendees can walk the gardens to see the spring perennials. The greenhouses will be open for shopping.

QUILTER'S DAY SCHEDULED: The 27th Quilter's Day Out is scheduled for May 7.
The show and luncheon will be held at DiVieste Banquet Room at 754 N. River Road in Warren. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. An included lunch will be served at noon, along with ticket sales for a raffles and door prizes. Guest speaker Linda Miller will talk on "Through a Judge's Eyes."
