YOUNGSTOWN -- An early morning crash on the city's East Side sent a teen driver to a local hospital on Friday.
Emergency crews cut the vehicle, which police said was stolen from Austintown Thursday evening, to remove the driver from beneath it. The driver, who was not identified, was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Health Center with critical injuries, reports state.
Police said three passengers in the vehicle were not hurt in the 1 a.m. cash in the 300 block of Orrin Avenue. All of the occupants are juveniles, police said.
