MESOPOTAMIA - Patricia A. Mullenax, 70, a lifelong resident of Mesopotamia, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
She was born on Aug. 11, 1943, in Warren, daughter of Kenneth and Sophie Scofield Wildman.
She was a graduate of Mespo-Bloomfield High School in 1961; in 1972, she went to work in the Finishing Department at Johnson Rubber Co. in Middlefield, and retired in 2008.
Pat enjoyed gardening in her yard, was a voracious reader, and enjoyed volunteering at the Middlefield Public Library. Pat lived to enjoy her grandchildren's sporting events and activities, traveling with her family, and spending time with her brother and sister-in-law, Denny and Barb Wildman.
She will be missed dearly by her friends and family, her loving children, Yvonne (Mark) Sutton Smith and Victor (Christine) Sutton, both of Bloomfield; her cherished grandchildren, Marcus Smith, Caitlin Smith, Victor C. Sutton and Marissa Sutton; her brother and sister-in-law, Denny (Barb) Wildman of Mesopotamia; and her nephew, Dennis Wildman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Sophie Wildman and her beloved pets.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 W. High St. (state Route 87), Middlefield. Pastor Jody Baker and Vernon Palo of Bloomfield United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Mesopotamia.
