MESOPOTAMIA - Patricia A. Mullenax, 70, a lifelong resident of Mesopotamia, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland.
She was born on Aug. 11, 1943, in Warren, the daughter of Kenneth and Sophie Scofield Wildman.
Pat was a graduate of Mespo-Bloomfield High School in 1961. In 1972, she went to work in the finishing department at Johnson Rubber Co. in Middlefield, retiring in 2008.
She enjoyed gardening in her yard, was a voracious reader and enjoyed volunteering at the Middlefield Public Library.
Pat lived to enjoy her grandchildren's sporting events and activities, traveling with her family and spending time with her brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Barb Wildman.
She will be missed dearly by her friends and family, her loving children, Yvonne (Mark) Sutton Smith and Victor (Christine) Sutton, both of Bloomfield; her cherished grandchildren, Marcus Smith, Caitlin Smith, Victor C. Sutton and Marissa Sutton; and her brother and sister-in-law, Denny and Barb Wildman of Mesopotamia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Sophie Wildman, and her beloved pets.
A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 W. High St. (state Route 87), Middlefield. Pastor Jody Baker and Vernon Palo of Bloomfield United Methodist Church will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Mesopotamia.
