WARREN - The word ''interim'' has been removed from the front of Mahoning Valley native Jennifer Roller's name. She is president of the Raymond John Wean Foundation.
Roller has been with the Foundation since 2007, serving as program officer and most recently as vice president and acting president. She has worked with two presidents and with strategic partners to ensure alignment of the Foundation's shared visions.
"Being inclusive, encouraging authentic community engagement and building strong partnerships is how I go about my work," Roller said in a news release. "The fact that it so closely aligns with the work of the foundation makes this an ideal match."
Roller said that under her leadership, the foundation will remain committed to its current issue priorities: early childhood, educational opportunity, economic opportunity, community revitalization and Public and Civic Sector leadership.
"The Wean Foundation has been fortunate to benefit from Jennifer Roller's dynamic leadership, community insight and commitment to our vision," said Gordon Wean, board chair. "Having been integrally involved in the development and implementation of the Foundation's strategies, she enjoys the board's complete confidence as she guides the foundation into the future."
Roller holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in education, both from Youngstown State University.
