Cortland

Cortland police activity reported March 21 to April 4:

April 3, 9:43 p.m. - Officers assisted the Cortland Fire Department with an electrical fire in the 200 block of North High Street.

1:25 a.m. - Heather Shiminsky, 38, of Cortland was charged with OVI refusal. The subject was released with a citation and received a court date.

April 2, 1:06 p.m. - Officers were dispatched to Pauni Apartments in reference to a domestic in the parking lot.

7:28 a.m. - Officers provided prisoner transportation on behalf of Central District Court.

April 1, 8:07 p.m. - A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of Adams Court.

March 27, 5:49 p.m. - Officers assisted the Cortland Fire Department with a possible gas leak in the 200 block of North Colonial Drive.

1:22 p.m - Huntington Bank notified officers of a subject picking up a large sum of money.

March 31 8:09 p.m. - A dumping complaint was reported in the area of Portal Drive and South High Street.

7:15 p.m. - A domestic matter was reported in the parking lot of 3001 Liberty Boulevard.

1:16 a.m. - Officers assisted the Bazetta Police Department with a possible prowler in the 2400 block of state Route 305.

March 30, 8:47 p.m. - Officers assisted the Trumbull County Sherriff's Office with a burglary in the 5100 block of state Route 193.

March 29, 7:42 p.m. - Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Cortview Drive in reference to an intoxicated person.

March 28, 2:09 p.m. - Officers were dispatched to Summer Dreams Tanning in reference to a hit skip.

March 26, 12:10 p.m. - A theft was reported at Top Notch Diner.

March 24, 9:28 p.m. - Officers assisted the Bazetta Police Department with a vehicle that drove into Subway building.

March 23, 6:20 p.m. - A burglary was reported in the 100 block of Winter Lane.

11:41 a.m. - William H. Duley of Cortland was charged with failure to reinstate his license. Duley was issued a citation and received a court date.

March 22,10:45 p.m. - Nicholas P. Gilger, 24, of Cortland, was charged with failure to reinstate his license. Gilger was released with a citation and a court date.

7:17 p.m. - Priscilla E. Wooten, 22, of Cortland, was charged with making false alarms. Wooten was released with a court summons.

3:34 p.m. - Scott A. Fleming, 35, of Burghill, was charged with driving under suspension. Fleming was released with a court date and a citation.

9 a.m. - A civil dispute was reported in the 200 block of Natale Drive.

March 21, 8:24 p.m. - A vehicle struck a mailbox in the 100 block of Greenbriar Drive.

4:12 p.m. - Ralph P. Ciletti II, 38, of Warren, was charged with failure to reinstate his license. Ciletti was released with a citation and a court date.

3:34 p.m. - Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Liberty Boulevard in reference to threats that were made on a Lakeview school bus.

Girard

City of Girard police activity for April 6 to April 8:

April 8, 5:06 p.m. - Police respond to petty theft at the Family Dollar on 910 N State St.

12:58 p.m. - Criminal mischief reported at 1637 Squaw Creek Drive. A large light post outside of a house at that address was damaged.

12:37 p.m. - Criminal mischief reported at 60 Hancock St. According to the report, vinyl siding on the side of a house at that address was reported as damaged.

April 7, 9:11 p.m. - Petty theft reported at 280 Louis Ave.

9:16 a.m. - Menacing reported at the Dollar General on 501 Churchill Road.

April 6, 5:22 p.m. - Police respond to a DOA report at 616 Lawrence Ave.

Niles

Niles police activity reported March 21-April 8:

April 8, 8:09 a.m. - Anthony Oliver, 18, arrested for assault at Niles McKinley High School, 616 Dragon Drive. Oliver was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend in the hallway at the high school.

April 5, 9:31 p.m. - Police respond to burglary report at 5318 Youngstown Warren Road. Suspect not found by police after report of breaking into a home at that address.

9 p.m. - James Moore, 25, arrested for theft at Dillard's Department Store, 5555 Youngstown Warren Road.

April 4, 8:40 p.m. - Kirk Kreidler, 35, arrested for criminal damaging at 1011 Robbins Ave.

12:46 a.m. - Charles Walters, 35, cited for speeding and driving without a license at Raub Construction Plaza on North Road.

April 3, 11:56 a.m. - Theft reported at AT&T Wireless, 5412 Youngstown Warren Road.

9:59 a.m. - Theft reported at 1109 Shadowridge Drive.

April 2, 10:48 p.m. - Maryann Lesinak, 54, charged with criminal trespassing and theft at 203 Ohio Ave.

6:13 p.m. - Fred Wild, 41, charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and or drugs after a traffic stop at 204 St. John Ave.

3:41 p.m. - Colton Mantz, 20, cited for prima-facie speed heading west bound on Niles Vienna Road.

April 1, 5:51 p.m. - Vincent Daniels, 37, cited for speeding and driving under suspension at 5516 Youngstown Warren Road.

March 31, 8:17 p.m. - Police respond to theft complaint on 436 Clinton Street. Resident claimed a tractor was stolen from his backyard.

3:41 p.m. - Police respond to an assault at 865 Summit Avenue. Upon arrival, police found the victim unresponsive and bleeding from numerous cuts to his head and face. Victim was transported to St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Youngstown.

12:26 p.m. - Police respond to missing adult complaint at 204 Williams St.

10:03 a.m. - Richard Poppelrieter, 45, arrested for theft, criminal trespassing and obstructing official business at 5555 Youngstown Warren Road.

March 28, 4:01 p.m. - Ashley Frank, 30, arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at the AT&T Store, 5555 Youngstown Warren Road.

11:23 a.m. - An unknown person ordered Boot Tech boots valued at $579 using a stolen credit card at Johnny K's Powersports, 420 Youngstown Warren Road.

10:50 a.m. - Assault reported at Niles McKinley High School, 616 Dragon Road.

10:30 a.m. - Police respond to assault report at Dinesol Plastic, 195 E. Park Ave.

March 26, 10:26 p.m. - Robbery in progress reported at Niles Book And News, 5970 Youngstown Warren Road. No arrest was made.

4:34 p.m. - Shane Salyard, 28, cited for assured clear distance ahead at the corner of Robbins and Carneige Avenue.

10:43 a.m. - Mark Cretella, 41, cited for preima-facie speed on Warren Avenue.

12:47 a.m. - Juvenile cited for right of way when turning left on Eastwood Mall Blvd.

11:14 p.m. - Police respond to burglary complaint at 156 Royal Mall Drive.

March 25, 1:51 a.m. - Jamaya Tate, 22, arrested for OVI, driving under suspension and driving upon right side of roadway on state Route 46.

March 24, 5:28 p.m. - Sterling Carter, 32, arrested for assault at the Niles Police Department, 15 E. State St.

March 23, 4:38 p.m. - Kenneth Beachler, 44, cited for driving under suspension on Warren Avenue.

4:29 p.m. - Jacqueline Braccini, 52, cited for speeding at 122 Holford.

3:48 p.m. - Keith Parish, 55, cited for speeding heading eastbound on U.S. Route 422.

March 22, 9 a.m. - James Hedrick, 51, cited for reckless operation on streets, public or private property at Bob's Quality Cars and Trucks, 436 S. Main St.

6:48 a.m. - Domonique Dorsey, 25, cited for driving without a license on U.S. Route 422.
