THE SECOND ANNUAL ORWELL SPRING FEVER 5K/1-MILE RUN will be held May 10. The event is sponsored by the Country Neighbor Program, Inc. and the Orwell Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary of the Village of Orwell. Registration prior to April 30 is $20 and those runners are guaranteed a T-shirt and a tote bag. For those taking part in same-day registration, the registration fee will be $30 and will have t-shirts available on a first, come first serve basis. The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. and the 1-mile run will begin at 8:30 a.m. with an awards ceremony to follow. Award medals will be given for the overall top three finishers as well as the top three in of the following age groups: 14 and under; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 54; 55 to 59; 60 to 64; 65 to 69; 70 to 74; 75 to 80; and 81-and-over. THE 13th ANNUAL MICHAEL "MICKEY" MICHALOJKO SCRATCH BOWLING TOURNAMENT will be held April 13 at Colonia Lanes in New Castle. The format is two, four-game qualifying squads. HUBBARD HIGH SCHOOL is announcing its two volleyball camps for this summer. The first is the Hubbard Instructional camp, which will be held from June 9 through 11 from 9 a.m. to noon for girls in second through ninth grades. The cost is $50. The second camp is the Shenango Valley Volleyball camp, being held June 23 and 24 for girls in fifth through 12th grades. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is $65.
