Beginning today, Mount Everett Road under Interstate 80 in Hubbard Township will be closed through mid-October 2016 for roadway construction, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. The detour will be U.S. Route 62/state Route 7 to state Route 304 to Bell Wick Road.
Interstate 80 eastbound and westbound over Mount Everett Road will have various lane restrictions for bridge repairs. The speed limit is reduced to 55 mph through this portion of I-80. This work is part of a $11.8 million project to replace the two bridges on I-80 over Mount Everett Road. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by October 2016.
ODOT also warns that Mayburn Corners Barclay Road over Sugar Creek between state Route 5 and Burnett East Road in Kinsman is closed through late June 2014 for a bridge replacement. The detour is Burnett East Road to state Route 5. This work is part of a $455,000 project to replace the Mayburn Corners Barclay Road bridge over Sugar Creek between state Route 5 and Burnett East Road. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by August 2014.
In Mahoning County, the U.S. Route 422 bridge over U.S. Route 62/state Route 7 will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning today, while U.S. Route 422 eastbound to U.S. Route 62 northbound will be also closed. The detour will be U.S. Route 422 to Oak Street to Albert Street. The $1.7 million project will re-deck the 422 ramp.
