VIENNA SEEKS DONATIONS: The Vienna Neighborhood Watch is seeking donations of candy for the upcoming Easter egg hunt at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the fire station. Donations may be brought to the fire station or dropped off at McCullough's Hardware Store.

PHOTOS TOPIC OF PROGRAM: Matt Miller of Images Art in Niles will be the guest speaker of the Trumbull County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogy Society at 10 a.m. Tuesday on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library. Members and guests can bring one of their old worst photos or a tin type to observe Miller choose one for a free restoration reprint. The May 13 meeting will be discussion in problems in researching family trees.
ESSAYS SOUGHT FOR PEACE EVENT: The 2014 Peace Celebration Committee is seeking entries from high school students in Trumbull County for the annual essay contest. The top three essays will be read this fall at the Peace Celebration at the Warren Amphitheater. Cash prizes will be awarded. The topic of the essay is "If I Could Talk Face to Face with My Elected Public Officials, Here Is What I Would Like to See Them Do to Bring Peace to Our Valley." English teachers in the county have contest rules and essay forms with essays to be turned in to teachers by May 1.
