DRAMA CLUB PRESENTS PLAY: The Niles McKinley High School Drama Club will present the musical comedy, "Bye Bye Birdie" at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday at the Niles McKinley High School auditorium. Susan Bowman directs the romantic comedy production assisted by Sharon Courim. FUNDRAISER TO HELP GROUP: The Central City Neighborhood Association will be hosting a fundraiser garage sale from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at 575 Atlantic St. N.E. The property is owned by the Trumbull County Land Reutilization Corporation and all proceeds will be used to fund Central City neighborhood projects throughout the summer months.
SCOUTS HOLD COOKIE DRIVE: Girl Scout Troop 80076 in Mineral Ridge will hold a cookie drive from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Church of Christ, state Route 46, Weathersfield.
ROBOTICS TEAM FUNDRAISER: The Fitch High School Robotics Team has been competing at different regional competitions this spring. The team is currently holding an aluminum can and scrap collection to help fund the team. The collection will be held until April 11 at the school.
BENEFIT TO HELP COACH: A benefit will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Southington schools complex for resident and volleyball coach Joe Calhoun, who has been battling cancer. The event will include a cornhole tournament and Chinese auction. Proceeds will help the family with medical expenses and travel costs.
FRIDAY FUN FOR 4's AND 5's: St. Patrick School in Hubbard will be holding its monthly community program for 4's and 5's along with caregivers at 1 p.m. today at the school, 38 E. Water St. Hubbard. The school offers a different themed event each month, offering educational fun. The theme for April is "Spring has Sprung." The activities for this month include stories, crafts, and a snack. CROATIAN CELEBRATION: The sixth annual Croatian Pride Day will be held at noon Saturday at St. George Croatian Center/ Home, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown.
