THE CANFIELD GOLF LEAGUE is looking for new members for the 2014 season that opens on April 23 at Flying B Golf Course. The league has been in operation for 50 years and plays on Wednesday nights. The league is unique because the members do not play head-to-head every week, instead golfers are assigned to teams and the low net scores are used to compute points that are awarded for that week. THE PACKARD ELECTRIC LADIES GOLF LEAGUE is holding its membership signup for the 2014 golf season on April 12 at Tamer Win Golf Course Clubhouse at 1 p.m. League play begins May12 at Tamer Win and May13 at Vienna Short Holes. The short-hole division welcomes beginner golfers and experienced golfers who want to improve their short game. The cost is $26 to join one division or $28 to join both divisions.
