The Youngstown State University chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the national theater honor society, will present "Crazy Like Love: An Evening of Two One-Act Plays" this weekend in the Spotlight Theater.
The two plays featured will be "Gendermat" by Mark Dunn and "The New Mrs. Jones" by James Armstrong.
"Gendermat," directed by Joseph Alvey, focuses on characters meeting in the basement laundry room of an apartment building. The four actors step in and out of the roles of the characters to create the story of four breakups. The play reveals that rejection and lost love are universals. In parting, the characters learn important truths about themselves.
