WARREN - Lucille B. Antonini, 83, of Warren, entered peacefully into eternal rest at 3:05 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the Vista Care Center in Boardman, with her daughters at her side following a lengthy illness.
Lucille was born the daughter of the late Thomas and Barbara Pipic Matasic on July 3, 1930, in Youngstown, and had resided in Warren since 1978.
She was a 1948 graduate of Ursuline High School in Youngstown and had been employed in the housekeeping department of Northside Hospital, retiring in 1997, and was a homemaker. Lucille attended the Church at Warren Healing and Learning Center in Cortland and made friends with everyone.
Memories of her will be celebrated by those she leaves behind, daughters, Victoria A. Dietz of Youngstown, Lucy "LuAnn" Berger of Deltona, Fla., JoAnn Antonini of Youngstown and Nancy A. (Mark) Fabian of Howland; brother, Charles Matasic of West Chester, Pa.; grandchildren, Joseph and Jeffrey Dietz, Joseph, Gina, Kayla (George Laginya) Fabian and Sean Berger; and great-grandchildren, Nicole Sacchini, Jenna Dietz and Hannah Phillips.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Joseph A. Antonini; brothers, Thomas, Mike, John and Steve Matasic; sisters, Rose Morelli, Caroline Mahoney and Anna Galterio; and sons-in-law, Kenneth Dietz Jr. and Gary Short.
Private family services will be held. There will be no visitation.
