FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Raymond R. Sanfrey Jr., 48, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014.
He was born in Warren, the son of Raymond R. and Lena Marie Sanfrey.
Raymond worked as the CFO for UT Electronic Controls for more than eight years. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. He was devoted to his family and his work. He had a special love for his children and spent all of his time making sure his family was taken care of. He cherished spending time with his family above all else: hitting balls, watching their games, grilling on the largest Weber grill ever made and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Surviving are his wife, Kristi Sanfrey; son, Raymond "Trey" R. Sanfrey III; and daughter, Audrey Marie Sanfrey, all of Fort Wayne; mother, Lena Marie Sanfrey of Cortland; brothers, James R. (Ann) Sanfrey of Columbus and Jeffrey Scott (Melody) Sanfrey of Tulsa, Okla.; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Raymond R. Sanfrey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Jude Catholic Church with calling hours one hour prior. The Rev. Jacob Meyer is officiating. Calling hours will also be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with a Rosary service starting at 7:45 p.m.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church, Bishop Dwenger High School Athletic Department, Salvation Army or Matthew 25 Clinic.
