COLUMBUS - Peyton Aldridge added yet another award to a trophy case that has to be overflowing at this point.
The LaBrae senior was named first-team All-Ohio in Division III on Tuesday when The Associated Press unveiled the teams, marking the third straight season Aldridge has received first-team honors. The Davidson College recruit averaged 21.4 points per game in his final season with the Vikings. Aldridge, the Northeast Inland District Player of the Year, also led LaBrae in rebounds (14.4), assists (4.6) and steals (2.8).
Liberty's Asim Pleas earned second-team honors in Division III. The senior averaged 22.9 points per game - the second highest mark in Trumbull County - to go along with 7.8 rebounds. He also shot 50 percent from the field.

Several other area players received special and honorable mentions in Division III (see the complete list on Page 3C).
In Division IV, Matt Seitz, who led the county with an average of 25 points per game, made the second team. He also grabbed 8.1 rebounds per contest and helped lead the Blue Devils to the Division IV district final. Similar to Division III, numerous players in Division IV earned special and honorable mentions.
On Wednesday, the announcement will be made for the 2014 Ohio Mr. Basketball.
