LOWELLVILLE -- A 2.8-magnitude earthquake rattled parts of Mahoning County around 2:30 a.m. Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, resulting in a barrage of emergency calls in Lowellville, Poland and Boardman.
The earthquake was centered about one mile south of Lowellville, according to the Survey. Residents said they felt their homes shake, but so far no damages or injuries have been reported.
