HELPING ROBOTICS TEAM: The Champion High School Robotics team will hold a community fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at Bob Evans in Niles. The restaurant will donate 15 percent of sales that day when presented with flyer for the team.
FAST-FLYING BIRDS: The Trumbull Soil and Water Conservation will show the movie "Hummingbirds" at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Trumbull Agriculture and Education Center in Cortland. The movie in February showcased unlikely friendships between different species, including a gorilla and a kitten, a horse and goat, and a dog and cheetah. The movie is free.
RECOVERY GROUP: Celebrate Recovery 101 will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Movement at the Eastwood Mall in Niles and 6 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Warren. The group is designed to help those with depression, addiction, and life issues.

EVENT RESCHEDULED: The Bazetta Cortland Historical Society's Civil War weapons authority program scheduled for this week has been rescheduled to April 10. The event will be a potluck dinner meeting and open to the public.
WINTER ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE: The Ohio Development Services Agency Office of Community Assistance has extended the application deadline for the Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Crisis Program until April 15 for eligible Mahoning County households. Those who are threatened with gas or electric disconnection, are already disconnected, or if their propane tank contains 35 percent or less of its capacity are encouraged to apply.
