RAPTORS TO BE SHOWCASED: Liberty Bible Church, 2111 Sodom Hutchings Road, Vienna, will have a live birds of prey display at 6:30 p.m. Friday with guests Howard and Jason Caldwell, who are both preachers and hunters.
They have been interested in falconry since 1993 and seven years ago started Seeing Truth Ministries. The event will also include food and door prizes as well as displays of owls, hawks and falcons.

CELEBRATING UNITY: A celebrating unity extravaganza will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at TYCAP, 1230 Palmyra Road S.W., Warren. The event will feature area chefs, contemporary jazz and a vendor marketplace.

BENEFIT TO HELP MAN: A benefit to help local resident John Kennedy, who was involved in a car accident that left him paralyzed in 2013, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Bristol High School, 1845 Greenville Road.
The money raised will be used to make Kennedy's home more wheelchair-accessible and help the family get a specially equipped motorized wheelchair and renovations to his home. The event will include a Chinese auction and 50-50 raffle. Takeout meals will be available.
Kennedy is currently recovering at Lake Vista in Cortland.
RUMMAGE SALE PLANNED: St. Paul Lutheran Church, East Market Street, Warren, will hold a baby and toddler item rummage sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Table rentals are available by calling the church at 330-394-5741.
Proceeds from the event are used to support the Splash ministry, an outreach program for parents of newborns in the community.
