COLUMBUS -- The Ohio Housing Finance Agency is expected this morning to award Trumbull County $3.2 million for housing demolition.
The Trumbull portion is part of the approximately $60 million being disbursed statewide from the federal government's Hardest Hit Fund. The Hardest Hit Fund was created in 2007 to help Washington, D.C., and the 18 states hardest hit by the housing crisis.
The money goes to the Trumbull County Land Bank, which is operated by Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership.
