SOCIETY PLANS PROGRAM: The Hubbard Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. March 7 at the senior center in the Hubbard Municipal Building, 220 W. Liberty St. The program will be on the Holocaust. The program is open to the public.
The society was established nearly 30 years ago to collecting and preserving items of interest on the history of Hubbard city and Hubbard Township.
BOATING SAFETY COURSE: The Mosquito Lake Power Squadron is offering America's boating course with six sessions beginning at 6 p.m. Monday at Gander Mountain in Niles. The other dates are March 5, 10, 12, 17 and 19.
The course includes essential information on all types of water sports. Completion of course meets all federal requirements.

SEEKING STORIES: This summer, the Sisters of the Humility of Mary will celebrate 150 years in the United States, remembering the sacrifice and bravery of the early sisters who left France to come to the America to continue their mission of bringing abundant life to those around them.
As part of the 150th anniversary, the sisters plan to create a Litany of Thanksgiving of all those who been blessed with an association to the sisters. SOCIETY PLANS LUMINARY EVENT: The Mineral Ridge Historical Society is planning a "Walk Down Memory Lane," selling luminaries for the historic middle school. An open house will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. March 6 at the school.
