Tribune Chronicle |

A male student is in custody after the Newton Falls junior high / high school building was evacuated due to a bomb threat being found written on the wall of a junior high bathroom Wednesday morning.

According to Police Chief Gene Fixler the suspect was apprehended based on the testimonies of other students and surveillance video footage. The building was cleared with nothing unusual being found. Fixler said he is "positive" that the right student was arrested on charges of inducing panic and that the school is safe from the original threat.
