MASURY - Gary M. "Kinky" "Chewy" Pushcar, 62, of Masury, died at 6:20 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, while at home surrounded by his family, following a 22-month fight with pancreatic cancer.
He was born Sept. 12, 1951, in Sharon, Pa., the son of Steve and Anna Palumbo Pushcar.
Gary worked as a journeyman electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #64, Boardman. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Hubbard.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia A Palfi; two sons, John M. and Daniel M., both of Masury; a daughter, Nicole L. of Naples, Fla.; a brother, Anthony "Tony" of Brookfield; a sister, Jesse "Mary Ann" Pilney of Masury; and three grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be held in his honor 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church. A time of gathering will be recognized from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Briceland Funeral Service in Brookfield.
