WARREN - A man needed to be cut free from his vehicle by emergency workers Thursday afternoon after striking a utility pole on North Park Avenue.
Police said Dana Berthmyer was driving near the Warren GE Lamp Plant building when his GMC truck veered out of its lane and into the pole.
It took Warren police officers and firefighters about 30 minutes to free Berthmyer, who was taken to St. Joseph Health Center for what police said were non-life threatening injuries. His condition was not known late Thursday night.
