Is the United States of America becoming like China, Russia or other countries under government control by only printing news items they consider favorable?
I am referring to the 41st annual March For Life in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 22. March For Life peacefully celebrated the 41st anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling on Roe v. Wade.
Hundreds of thousands of young people, high school and college age, from most of the states and the Virgin Islands participated peacefully, yet it went unreported and unprinted by most of the newspapers and television stations, except FOX and EWTN. Both honestly reported The March For Life.
If this were a group of people demonstrating for some popular government cause, it would make front page news.
Finally, on Jan. 27 your newspaper gave the teen page, ''Page One,'' a half page with pictures of the St. Mary Teen Vision of St. Mary Church and John F. Kennedy High School students who attended the March For Life in Washington, D.C.
I wanted to bring this to the attention of all your readers, that this local newspaper is not fairly reporting all the news.
