HOWLAND - Catherine B. Hope, 91, passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Shepherd of the Valley-Howland.
Catherine was born Nov. 21, 1922, the daughter of F. Edward and Grace Miller Bock of Warren Township.
Catherine was a graduate of Leavittsburg High School and Warren Business College. She was employed by Trumbull Supply and Manufacturing from the mid-1940s through 1970 and Trumbull Industries from 1970 through 2007.

She was a member and officer of Youngstown Purchasing Agents Association and numerous other professional organizations throughout her career.
She enjoyed bowling in local leagues and competed in state and national tournaments. She was inducted into the Warren Women's Bowling Hall of Fame in 1999. She enjoyed all sports, especially football.
Catherine was a member of the First Presbyterian church for more than 50 years.
Memories of Catherine will be carried on by her son, Richard (Dorothy) Hope; granddaughter, Lauren (fiance Brandon McIntosh) Hope of Jacksonville, Fla.; niece, Carol Cole of Horseheads, N.Y.; and nephews Charles (Eloise) Shafer of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Roger (Ester) Shafer of Mecca.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Margaret Shafer; and brother, Claire Hoffaker.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church in Warren with the Rev. Rusty Cowden officiating. Final committal service will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at McFarland and Son Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren, OH 44483.
