WARREN - Juanita Brown Williams Jones, 78, of Warren, died at 11:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Community Skilled Nursing Center after a brief illness.
She was born April 13, 1935, in Sumter, S.C., the daughter of Thomas and Alice Buckley Brown.
Juanita retired from Alpha Senior Apartments as a manager. She was a member of New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Hubert Lewis Jones of San Diego, Calif.; one daughter, Donna Jean Penn of Warren; one stepbrother, Nathan Wade Jr. of Radcliff, Ky.; two stepsisters, Mittie Upshaw of Lockborne and Annie May of Warren; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Ms. Jones was preceded in death by one son, Reginald Lynn Williams; two daughters, Cynthia Williams and Daisy L. Brown; one brother; one sister; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held noon Saturday at New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church. Calling hours are one hour prior to the service. The family also will receive friends at 762 Fourth St. S.W., Warren, the home of her granddaughter.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
