YOUNGSTOWN -- A Youngstown woman was arrested early Saturday after police say she stabbed two of her sisters, according to Tribune Chronicle news partner WYTV 33 News.
Police responded to reports of a stabbing at a house on Blackburn Street and when they arrived the home was empty, but blood was visible on the wall and floor.
Jessica Gomez, 30, was placed under arrest, and her sisters were being treated at St. Elizabeth Health Center for what appeared to be stab wounds. According to WYTV's report, Gomez claims the attacks were in self defense.
Gomez was still listed as an active inmate late Saturday, according to the Mahoning County Sheriff's Department website.
