Brooke Dawson had 15 points and 11 rebounds for Maplewood (9-2, 5-2), a team that had no 3-pointers, despite having some open looks, and struggled to score in the post.

NILES 46, POLAND 44: NILES - Niles had a role reversal in Thursday's rematch with Poland.
The two teams met Dec. 2 with the Red Dragons missing a last-second 3-pointer after the Bulldogs made a pair of free-throws for a two-point lead and the win.
Thursday, Amanda Blank, who had 10 points, sunk two shots from the charity stripe to give the Red Dragons (3-7, 2-3 All-American Conference, American Division) the lead with 4 seconds left.
Poland's desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer went awry.
The Red Dragons were paced by Ashley Cline, who had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Makayla Butler added 10 for Niles.
Jillian Penman paced Poland with 10 points.
Niles, which hosts Newton Falls on Saturday, has won three of its last five games after starting the season 0-5.
WINDHAM 84, CHALKER 55: WINDHAM - Four Bombers scored in double figures as Windham defeated Chalker in a Northeastern Athletic Conference tilt.
Windham jumped to a 20-11 lead after the first quarter, which extended to 43-19 at the half.
Jessica Isler and Brittany Knight each scored 21 points to lead the Bombers. Dari Heller added 14 points and Cali Apthorpe chipped in 11. Isler also led the squad with seven assists.
Shelby Cameron scored 20 to pace Chalker. Rachel Wilson added 15.
FITCH 65, HOWLAND 41: AUSTINTOWN - The Falcons stayed perfect on the season by taking down Howland in an All-American Conference, American Division matchup.
Fitch jumped out early, gaining the 21-9 advantage after the first quarter.
Fitch's Megan Sefcik scored 28 points to lead all scorers. Cassie Custer scored 15 and grabbed a team-high six rebounds. Sarah Melfe added 11 points for the Falcons (11-0, 6-0).
Jordan Entler led Howland (6-6, 2-4) with 16 points and seven rebounds.
COLUMBIANA 104, McDONALD 28: McDONALD - The Clippers made 43 field goals and Baylie Mook scored a school-record 42 points as Columbiana thumped McDonald.
Mook scored 24 of her 42 points in the second half alone. Three other teammates scored in double figures, including Brianna Ginger with 14.
Sara Joseph paced McDonald (1-12) with 11 points.
WESTERN RESERVE 54, WELLSVILLE 44: BERLIN CENTER - The score was even at the half, but Western Reserve took over the second half to stay perfect in Inter Tri-County League, Division II play.
The Blue Devils outscored the Tigers, 23-13, in the second half. Western Reserve is now 8-3 overall and 6-0 in the ITCL.
Aleah Hughes scored 20 points to lead Western Reserve. Rachel Maslach added 10 points.
JACKSON-MILTON 44, UNITED 36: NORTH JACKSON - Rebecca Jones scored 11 of her game-high 17 points in the first and fourth quarters as the Blue Jays handed the Eagles an Inter Tri-County League, Division I loss.
Jones led Jackson-Milton (6-4, 4-2 ITCL Division I) with 19 rebounds.
Kenzie Firth and Mackenzie Gatchel each had eight points to pace United, while Shannon Miller had 12 rebounds.
Monday, Jackson-Milton hosts Springfield.
