LaBRAE 43, HUBBARD 23: LEAVITTSBURG - The Vikings used a tough defensive display to beat Hubbard on Wednesday.
LaBrae (7-2) allowed the Eagles to reach double digits in just one quarter and held them to two in the third. Peyton Aldridge led the way for the Vikings, scoring 16 points, while Marcell Richardson chipped in with 10.
Brennan Wassil paced Hubbard with 10 points.
LaBrae returns to action Friday against Lakeview at home.
LIBERTY 55, HUBBARD 35: LIBERTY - After a slow start, the Leopards exploded from the second quarter on, scoring 49 points over the final three quarters in a 20-point win over the Eagles on Wednesday.
Leah Leshnack led the way for Liberty, amassing a game-high 25 points. Scoring all six of Liberty's points in the first quarter, Leshnack dropped 11 on the Eagles in the second quarter alone before the Leopards managed to pull away in the second half. She was the only player on either team to reach double figures.
Logan Nitsche paced Hubbard with nine points in the losing effort.
WINDHAM 51, GRAND VALLEY 48: WINDHAM - The Bombers held off the Mustangs to pick up a Northeastern Athletic Conference win on Wednesday.
Three Windham (7-2, 4-2) players reached double figures, starting with Jessica Isler's 18 points. Dari Heller contributed 15 to the cause, while Brittany Knight had 13.
Jessica Vormelker paced Grand Valley (9-3, 4-3) with a game-high 19 points.
