SAVANNAH, Tenn. - Ann Calvert departed this life on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at the age of 86 years, 9 months and three days.
She was born in Savannah, Tenn., on March 30, 1927, the daughter of the late Henry and Alma Stricklin.
On July 22, 1945, she was united in marriage to Fred Calvert, who survives.
Ann was a manager of Northbury Colony Apartments in Warren for 15 years. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Austintown.

Ann is survived by her husband of almost 69 years, Fred Calvert of Savannah, Tenn.; a son, Tommie Joe Calvert of Savannah, Tenn.; a daughter, Kathy (Bob) Moody of Warren; grandchildren, Michelle Calvert, Jim (Theresa) Calvert, Brandon (Adela) Moody, Ben Moody and Jaime (Kris) Moody; and great-grandchildren, Micheala, Wyatt, Katelyn, Matthew, Axis, Hannah and Ella.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Allen (Jimmy) Calvert; sisters, Jean Morgan and Reba Lenzen; and brothers, Ray Stricklin and Johnny Stricklin.
Services were held Tuesday at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, Tenn., with the Rev. Gerald Davis officiating.
Burial followed in the Mount Hermon Cemetery in Hardin County, Tenn.
