VIENNA - Donna Jean Schieffer, 80, of Vienna, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
Donna was born Nov. 11, 1933, in Youngstown, the daughter of George H. and Sadie Sill.
She graduated from Vienna High School in 1951, went on to become an LPN, then an RN, and received a master's degree from Youngstown State University.

She married Earl R. Schieffer on Sept. 19, 1954; they made their home in Vienna, where she was a member of the Vienna Presbyterian Church.
She was active in the community, where she was a Girl Scout leader for many years and went on missions to Thailand and El Salvador, and enjoyed participating in the Vienna Historical Society.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Marlene Schieffer of Alexandria, Va., and Brenda (James J. Jr.) Robb of Cincinnati; her son, Christopher (Brenda) Schieffer of Vienna; and her grandson, James Robb III of Cincinnati.
Donna is now reunited with those she loved and missed so much. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, on Nov. 9, 1993; a daughter, Mary Alice, on April 18, 1965; her parents, George H. Sill on May 4, 1974, and Sadie Sill on April 30, 1983; and her brothers, Robert G. Sill on Sept. 13, 2006, and Emil R. Sill on Oct. 18, 2007.
Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the Madasz Chapel of Lane Family Funeral Homes in Brookfield. Private funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at the Vienna Presbyterian Church at 4295 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, OH 44473, with Pastor Judy Bender officiating.
Burial will take place next her husband in the Vienna Township Cemetery.
Donations can be made in Donna's honor to either the Vienna Presbyterian Church or to the Vienna Township Historical Society.
